Certainly a winnable game. A few chances dropped, too many wickets lost for us. Dave was a champ with the ball taking 3 of our 5 wickets for the night. Steve was the highlight with the bat with a well grafted 23 runs. There weren't many big shots from him, just well placed 2's & 3's. A win's not far away boys.

A much better effort than last week. Definitely a winable game, but we just fell short. We did manage 2 skins from the game though, so not a bad effort.

A fair effort boys. It was pleasing to improve the batting if only slightly, but we still have a long way to go. We need to try to post a score of 70 or better every match & we can do that by smart batting. We need to keep in mind that if we get 1 a ball that would be 75 runs (Jackpot ball included). Start aiming at that & not losing any wickets & we'll do well. Keep working on it boys.

What a great game, with us only posting 51 to defend it was going to be an up hill battle. And after their first pair came out and smashed us for 51 the scoreboard said it was all over.

But we knew we'd won games from a worse position, and they did have 3 kids still to bat.

As usual our Daviour came to the rescue, 2 overs with 2 wickets each saw us restrict their second pair to 5, winning the skin and setting up a battle in the last.

Our token Jenkins then sealed the game getting a 3/-11 in the first over and we never looked back.

Great start to the season boys, but we MUST get our batting shape.
